Classification of a Reserve for Recreation Reserve Purposes Forming Part of Pukekura Park

Under section 16(2A) of the Reserves Act 1977, the New Plymouth District Council, pursuant to a resolution dated the 18th day of September 2012, hereby classifies the botanic garden and public recreation grounds reserve described in the Schedule for recreation reserve purposes and further, pursuant to the powers conferred on it by section 16(10) of the Act, declares the said reserve to form part of Pukekura Park, so named hereto in this notice.

Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993

Recommendation for Inclusion of Māori Freehold Land in a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338(2) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby included in the Māori Reservation known as Ngapuna E and Part D (first set apart as Ngapuna E as a Māori Reservation for the common use and benefit of Ngāti Tarawhai hapū of the Te Arawa tribe and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 9 February 1967, No. 6, page 145, and then including Part Ngapuna D which was published in the New Zealand Gazette, 3 February 1994, No. 9, page 648).
