Medicines Regulations 1984

Amendment to Approved Sale of General Sales Medicines by Vending Machines (Approval No. 2012/AP016/2)

Pursuant to Regulation 59(1) of the Medicines Regulations 1984, I, Kevin Woods, Director-General of Health, approve the following amendments to the Approved Sale of General Sales Medicines by Vending Machines (Approval No. 2012/AP016/1) dated the 27th day of September 2012 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 4 October 2012, No. 122, page 3479 (“the Approval”) held by OCS Limited (trading as Cannon Hygiene); 26 Virginia Avenue East, Eden Terrace, Auckland 1021. Postal Address: PO Box 8122, Symonds Street, Auckland 1150.

Schedule 1 of the Approval is amended to include:

Condoms (general sale categories with local anaesthetic or spermicide, all pack sizes less than 12s; including all New Zealand-compliant materials, designs, sizes, flavours, lubricated or non-lubricated). Condoms may contain benzocaine or spermicide; all condoms must comply with section 6 of the Contraception, Sterilisation, and Abortion Act 1977

Schedule 2 of the Approval is amended to include:
