Crown Entities Act 2004

Appointments/reappointment to the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority

Pursuant to section 28(1)(a) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, the Minister of Energy and Resources has appointed

Thomas (Tom) Campbell

as a member and chair (pursuant to clause 1(1) of Schedule 5 of the Crown Entities Act 2004) for three years; and

Elena Trout

as a member for three years; and reappointed

Mark Oldfield

as a member for 18 months.

All the above are to the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority Board, as established under the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority Act 2000, and take effect on 1 February 2013.

Notice of Recognition of an Organisation Which May Issue Certificates of Competence Under Regulation 17 of the Health and Safety in Employment (Mining Administration) Regulations 1996

Pursuant to Regulation 17 of the Health and Safety in Employment (Mining Administration) Regulations 1996, I, Lesley Haines, Deputy Chief Executive, Safety and Regulatory Practice, Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, hereby give notice that, being satisfied that it is appropriate to do so, I recognise the NZ Motor Industry Training Organisation (Incorporated) as an organisation which may issue certificates of competence of all kinds or of a particular kind in accordance with the said Health and Safety in Employment (Mining Administration) Regulations 1996.

Pursuant to Regulation 17 of the Health and Safety in Employment (Mining Administration) Regulations 1996, I, Lesley Haines, Deputy Chief Executive, Safety and Regulatory Practice, Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, hereby give notice that, being satisfied that it is appropriate to do so, I withdraw recognition from the Extractive Industries Training Organisation as an organisation which may issue certificates of competence of all kinds or of a particular kind in accordance with the said Health and Safety in Employment (Mining Administration) Regulations 1996.
