National Animal Identification and Tracing Act 2012
Notice That the NAIT Identification System Standard Has Been Made
Pursuant to section 14 of the National Animal Identification and Tracing Act 2012, I, Russell John Burnard, Chief Executive of National Animal Identification and Tracing (NAIT) Limited (acting as the NAIT organisation), give notice that I have issued the NAIT Identification System Standard 2012.
The NAIT Identification System Standard 2012, which incorporates the NAIT Device Standard for Cattle and the NAIT Device Standard for Deer, will take effect on 1 July 2012.
Copies of the NAIT Identification System Standard 2012 may be obtained from the NAIT website
or by writing to NAIT Limited, PO Box 10082, Wellington 6143.

National Animal Identification and Tracing (Levies) Regulations 2012
Notification of Levy Rates for Slaughter, Tag, and Impracticable to Tag
Pursuant to Regulation 12 of the National Animal Identification and Tracing (Levies) Regulations 2012, notice is hereby given that:
(a) commencing 1 July 2012, the rates of slaughter, tag, and impracticable to tag levies (exclusive of GST) for cattle shall be:
(i) slaughter levy – $1.35 per animal;
(ii) tag levy – $1.10 per NAIT device;
(iii) impracticable to tag – $13.00 per animal; and
(b) commencing 1 March 2013, the rate of the impracticable to tag levy (exclusive of GST) for deer shall be $13.00 per animal.

- Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Social Workers Registration Board (Fees and Disciplinary Levy) Notice 2012.
(2) This notice comes into force on 1 July 2012 and replaces the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 6 October 2011, No. 150, page 4309.
