Notice of Vesting of Property Under Section 324 of the Companies Act 1993 – Invensys NZ Limited

I, Jeremy Salmond, Treasury Solicitor, acting under delegated authority from the Secretary to the Treasury, hereby give notice that on 23 April 2012, I first became aware that the Crown was vested under section 324(1) of the Companies Act 1993 (by virtue of the removal of Invensys NZ Limited from the Register of Companies on 22 December 2007) with the rights to a distribution by the liquidators of Central Office Park Limited (in liquidation).

The distribution relates to a claim in liquidation by Feltrax International Limited dated 16 November 1993.

Feltrax International Limited was amalgamated with Invensys NZ Limited on 22 December 2006.

Notice of Determination Made Under Section LH 13 of the Income Tax Act 2007

This notice of determination is made under section LH 13 of the Income Tax Act 2007.

I am satisfied that the internal software developments in relation to one of the projects undertaken by Vodafone New Zealand Limited in the 2008–2009 income year meet the requirements in section LH 13(2)(a) to (c).

I have determined, in accordance with section LH 13(2), that the amount of $3,680,317.00 is appropriate for the purposes of section LH 1(1) for Vodafone New Zealand Limited, for the 2008–2009 income year.

The increase in the expenditure limit of $680,317.00 can only be used in relation to this project.

Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits 2003

New Zealand Transport Agency (Speed Limits on State Highways) Amendment Bylaw 2012/2

Pursuant to section 61(3) of the Government Roading Powers Act 1989, and the Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits 2003, the NZ Transport Agency hereby makes the following bylaw.

Bylaw

  1. Title and commencement—This bylaw may be cited as the New Zealand Transport Agency (Speed Limits on State Highways) Amendment Bylaw 2012/2 and will come into force 28 days after the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

  2. Amendments—The New Zealand Transport Agency (Speed Limits on State Highways) Bylaw 2010/10* is hereby amended by:

  • Inserting new line 512A in Schedule 1 to read:
    "Line No.: 512A
    Region: 5
    SH No.: 2
    Locality: Manutuke
    Section of State Highway: From 670m north of Papatu Road to 120m south of Karaua Road.
    Speed Restriction (km/h): 80
    New Zealand Gazette Reference: 7/06/2012, No 66, page 1823"

  • Inserting new line 512B in Schedule 1 to read:
    "Line No.: 512B
    Region: 5
    SH No.: 2
    Locality: Muriwai
    Section of State Highway: From 600m north of Muriwai Beach Road to 300m south of Muriwai Beach Road.
    Speed Restriction (km/h): 80
