Notice of Treaty of Waitangi Settlement Discontinued Crown Protected Area Names for Ngāti Porou

Pursuant to section 82 of the Ngāti Porou Claims Settlement Act 2012 ("the Settlement Act 2012"), the New Zealand Geographic Board Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa ("Board") hereby gives notice of discontinued Crown Protected Area (CPA) names.

The Schedule below specifies the details of the discontinued CPA names; their generic terms; their descriptions; and their former Gazettes.

The discontinued CPA names took effect on 8 May 2012, being the date that the Settlement Act 2012 came into effect.
