Notice of Final Determination to Alter a Geographic Name

Pursuant to sections 19 and 21(2) of the New Zealand Geographic Board (Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa) Act 2008, the New Zealand Geographic Board Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa (“Board”) hereby gives notice of the final determination to alter an existing geographic name.

The altered geographic name is now an official geographic name and is specified in the first column of the Schedule below.

The geographic feature type that the altered geographic name relates to is set out in the second column of the Schedule below.

The description of the altered geographic name is set out in the third column of the Schedule below.

The Board’s final determination on this altered geographic name takes effect on 10 May 2012.

Pursuant to sections 10(1)(a), 25 and 21(2) of the New Zealand Geographic Board (Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa) Act 2008, the New Zealand Geographic Board Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa (“Board”) hereby gives notice of final determined Antarctic geographic names.

These are now official geographic names and are specified in the first column of the Schedule below (“the Schedule”).

The geographic feature type that they relate to is set out in the second column of the Schedule.

The description for each name is set out in the third column of the Schedule.

The Board’s final determination on these Antarctic geographic names takes effect on 10 May 2012.
