2. Gazetting space for settlement purposes—For the purposes of preserving space to be used for meeting the Crown’s obligations under section 9 of the Maori Commercial Aquaculture Claims Settlement Act 2004, the Minister for Primary Industries declares the following space in the coastal marine area to be an aquaculture settlement area:

Tawero Point (North)

The area enclosed by a line:

(a) Commencing at a point offshore (at 41°03.74'S and 173°56.09'E); then

(b) Proceeding due north to a point offshore (at 41°03.61'S and 173°56.09'E); then

(c) Proceeding in a south-easterly direction to a point offshore (at 41°03.67'S and 173°56.33'E); then

(d) Proceeding due south to a point offshore (at 41°03.80'S and 173°56.33'E); then

(e) Proceeding in a north-westerly direction to the point of commencement.

Pursuant to section 12 of the Maori Commercial Aquaculture Claims Settlement Act 2004, the Minister for Primary Industries gives the following notice.

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Notice Declaring an Aquaculture Settlement Area for the Purposes of the Maori Commercial Aquaculture Claims Settlement Act 2004 – Tawero Point (South) (No. F648).

(2) This notice comes into force on the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Pursuant to section 12(2)(a) of the Maori Commercial Aquaculture Claims Settlement Act 2004, the Minister for Primary Industries gives the following notice.

Notice

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Notice Adding Space to an Aquaculture Settlement Area for the Purposes of the Maori Commercial Aquaculture Claims Settlement Act 2004 – Port Gore (South) (No. F649).

(2) This notice comes into force on the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. Principal notice amended—This notice amends the Notice Declaring an Aquaculture Settlement Area for the Purposes of the Maori Commercial Aquaculture Claims Settlement Act 2004 – Port Gore (South) (No. F626)*.

3. Aquaculture settlement area substituted—The aquaculture settlement area in the principal notice is substituted with the aquaculture settlement area in this notice.

4. Gazetting space for settlement purposes—For the purposes of preserving space to be used for meeting the Crown’s obligations under section 9 of the Maori Commercial Aquaculture Claims Settlement Act 2004, the Minister for Primary Industries declares the following space in the coastal marine area to be an aquaculture settlement area:

Port Gore (South)

The area enclosed by a line:

(a) Commencing at a point offshore (at 41°01.90'S and 174°12.09'E); then

(b) Proceeding in a north-easterly direction to a point offshore (at 41°01.82'S and 174°12.12'E); then

(c) Proceeding due east to a point offshore (at 41°01.82'S and 174°12.31'E); then

(d) Proceeding in a southerly direction to a point offshore (at 41°02.22'S and 174°12.36'E); then

(e) Proceeding due west to a point offshore (at 41°02.22'S and 174°12.17'E); then

(f) Proceeding in a north-westerly direction to a point offshore (at 41°02.15'S and 174°12.12'E); then

(g) Proceeding in a northerly direction to the point of commencement.
