Appointment of Acting Judge of High Court

Pursuant to section 11A of the Judicature Act 1908,
His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand, in
the name and on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen, has
been pleased to appoint

The Honourable John Warwick Gendall

an Acting Judge of the High Court for a term of one
year, the commission to take effect on 29 March 2012,
a certificate having been signed by the Chief Justice and
the Chief High Court Judge that in their opinion it is
necessary for the due conduct of the business of the Court
that an acting Judge be appointed.

purposes only, the written description being dispositive.

Crown Entities Act 2004

Reappointment to the Testing Laboratory Registration Council

Pursuant to clause 1(1) of Schedule 5 of the Crown Entities
Act 2004, the Minister of Commerce is pleased to reappoint

Ronald James Hill

as the deputy chairperson of the Testing Laboratory
Registration Council for a term commencing on 1 April
2012 and expiring on 31 March 2015.

Ronald James Hill is a member appointed by the council in
accordance with section 4(1)(b) of the Testing Laboratory
Registration Act 1972.

Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988

Notice of Initiation of Duty Reassessment for Standard Plasterboard From Thailand

Following the completion of a review, pursuant to section
14(8) of the Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988
(“the Act”), and pursuant to section 14(6) of the Act, and
under delegated authority from the Chief Executive of the
Ministry of Economic Development, I hereby give notice
that I have initiated a reassessment of the rate or amount
of anti-dumping duty imposed in respect of imports into
New Zealand of the goods described in the Schedule to this
notice.

Revocation of Notice of Direction to Appoint a Limited Statutory Manager for the Board of Trustees of Rotorua Boys’ High School (152)

The notice of direction to appoint a limited statutory manager
for the board of trustees of Rotorua Boys’ High School
(as published in the New Zealand Gazette, 21 January 2010,
No. 3, page 173) is hereby revoked under section 78M(7) of
the Education Act 1989.

This notice takes effect on the day of publication.

Regulations 2008

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Service

Pursuant to Regulation 32(1)(d)(ii) of the Education
(Early Childhood Services) Regulations 2008, and acting
under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education,
I hereby cancel the licence dated 16 August 2010, which
was granted under those Regulations to Donna Waipouri in
respect of Ako Home-based Care and Education (45164),
situated at 11 Maria Place, Mid Avenue, Wanganui.
