Temporary Class Drug Notice

Pursuant to section 4C of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1975, I give notice that the following substance is classified as a temporary class drug:

RTI-126
2β-(1,2,4-oxadiazol-5-methyl)-3β-phenyltropane

This notice will take effect on 27 December 2012 and will expire on 26 December 2013, unless cancelled or renewed as specified in section 4E of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1975.

Revocation of Feilding as a Place at Which a District Court May be Held for the Exercise of Civil and Criminal Jurisdiction

Pursuant to section 4(5) of the District Courts Act 1947, His Excellency the Governor-General has revoked, with effect from the close of 1 March 2013, the appointment of Feilding* as a place in which a District Court may be held for the exercise of civil and criminal jurisdiction.

Revocation of Whataroa as a Place at Which a District Court May be Held for the Exercise of Criminal Jurisdiction

Pursuant to section 4(5) of the District Courts Act 1947, His Excellency the Governor-General has:

(a) revoked, with effect from the close of 1 March 2013, the appointment of Whataroa* as a place in which a District Court may be held for the exercise of criminal jurisdiction; and

(b) consequentially revoked, with effect from the close of 1 March 2013, the authorisation of the District Court held in Whataroa† to deal with matters under the Imprisonment for Debt Limitation Act 1908.
