Under section 78M(6) of the Education Act 1989, the notice (as published in the New Zealand Gazette, 17 November 2011, No. 176, page 5043), directing the Secretary for Education to appoint a limited statutory manager for the board of trustees Ridgway School is amended by this notice.

The following functions, powers and duties are vested in the limited statutory manager:

• All functions, powers and duties of the board as an employer; and
• all functions, powers and duties of the board to manage financial operations.

Alternative Constitution for the Board of Trustees of Whangaroa College (4) Northland

Pursuant to section 105A of the Education Act 1989 (“the Act”), I approve the following constitution for the board of trustees of Whangaroa College

• Up to four trustees appointed by the Secretary for Education;
• two parent representatives;
• one staff representative;
• one student representative;
• the principal of the school; and
• up to one trustee co-opted by the board of trustees.

The constitution will operate as if sections 96, 97, 99, 101, 102, 104 and 105 of the Act apply where relevant.

This notice takes effect on the day of its publication.
