Amendment to a Notice—Classification of a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservator of the Nelson Marlborough Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, amends an error in the notice Classification of a Reserve, dated the 7th day of July 2005 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 14 July 2005, No. 108, page 2598, by adding to the description in the Schedule for Nelson Land District—Hurunui and Marlborough Districts the word

“Maling,”

after the word

“Rainbow,”.

Change of Classification of Part of a Reserve

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve, and Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How to Utilise the Proceeds of Sale

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Acting Community Support Manager for the Wellington Hawke’s Bay Conservancy of the Department of Conservation hereby revokes the reservation over the recreation reserve described in the Schedule and declares the land may be disposed of by the Wellington City Council in such manner, at such price and on such terms and conditions as the council shall determine, the proceeds from any sale to be paid into the general funds of the council.

Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993

Redefining the Purpose for Which a Reservation is Made

Pursuant to section 338(5)(d) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, the purpose of the land described in the Schedule hereto which was set apart as a Māori reservation by notice in the New Zealand Gazette, 11 January 1973, No. 1, page 38, is hereby redefined in terms of the persons or class of persons as now being for the Māori people within the locality of Toetoe Road who can whakapapa to their tupuna listed in the First Schedule over the land listed in the Second Schedule.
