Notice of Direction to Appoint a Limited Statutory Manager for the Board of Trustees of Turakina Māori Girls’ College (194)

Under section 78M of the Education Act 1989, I direct the Secretary for Education to appoint a limited statutory manager for the board of trustees of Turakina Māori Girls’ College.

The following functions, powers and duties of the board are to be vested in a limited statutory manager:

• All functions, powers and duties of the board in curriculum management including teaching and assessment practice (whether statutory or otherwise);
• all functions, powers and duties of the board as an employer (whether statutory or otherwise); and
• all functions, powers and duties of the board to manage financial operations (whether statutory or otherwise).

A limited statutory manager may also advise the board on the following:

• Communication, particularly between the board and the board of proprietors;
• board processes and procedures, including self-review.

This notice takes effect on the day of publication.

Under section 36(2) of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, and acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education, I approve that the attendance dues payable to Mission College Hamilton Trust Board in respect of any pupil at Sacred Heart Girls’ College (Hamilton) shall be a maximum of $775.00 (exclusive of GST) per pupil per annum.

St Bede’s College Board of Proprietors (Attendance Dues) Notice 2012

Under section 36(2) of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, and acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education, I approve that the attendance dues payable to St Bede’s College Board of Proprietors in respect of any pupil at St Bede’s College (Christchurch) shall be a maximum of $1,060.00 (exclusive of GST) per pupil per annum for 2013, a maximum of $1,345.00 (exclusive of GST) per pupil per annum for 2014 and a maximum of $1,650.00 (exclusive of GST) per pupil per annum from 2015.
