Revocation of a Notice Relating to Vesting of Reclamation and Issue of a Fresh Notice

Under the Interpretation Act 1999, the Minister of Conservation revokes the notice headed Vesting of Reclamation—Thames–Coromandel District dated the 1st day of October 2012 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 11 October 2012, No. 124, page 3561, and issues the following notice as a fresh notice in its place.

Vesting of Reclamation—Thames–Coromandel District

Under section 355 of the Resource Management Act 1991 (as saved by section 41 of the Marine and Coastal Area (Takutai Moana) Act 2011), the Minister of Conservation vests the leasehold interest for a term of 50 years with a commencement date of 25 June 2010 and an expiry date of 24 June 2060, more particularly described in the memorandum of lease including the encumbrances and restrictions therein dated the 11th day of September 2012, in two areas of reclaimed coastal land owned by the Crown, being part of the Whitianga Marina reclamations and as described in the Schedule to this notice, in the Whitianga Marina Society Incorporated.

Amending a Notice—Reservation of Land

Under the Land Act 1948 and section 13 of the Interpretation Act 1999, the Deputy Director-General (Operations) of the Department of Conservation hereby corrects an error in the notice Reservation of Land, dated the 1st day of July 2005 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 7 July 2005, No. 105, page 2496, by adding to the description in the Schedule for Nelson Land District—Hurunui and Marlborough Districts the word

“Maling,”

after the word

“Rainbow,”.

Public Works Act 1981

Road Realignment—State Highway 1 Western Hills Drive, Whangarei District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road which, pursuant to section 88(2) of the Government Roading Powers Act 1989, becomes road, limited access road and State highway and shall vest in the Crown;

(b) Pursuant to section 52, declares the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice is set apart for the functioning indirectly of a road (segregation strip) and shall remain vested in the Crown.
