This notice is pursuant to section 101(2) of the Public Trust Act 2001.

The sum of $25,936.96 has been paid to Public Trust to hold in the name of the deregistered company.

A claim has now been lodged by the shareholders of THE O.E CO 2009 LIMITED.

Public Trust proposes paying the amount of the claim, less associated costs, to THE O.E CO 2009 LIMITED, subject to no notice of an alternative claim being received on or prior to 10 January 2013.

Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992

Intention to Develop a New Approved Code of Practice for Health and Safety Representatives in the Upstream Petroleum Sector

The Deputy Chief Executive, Safety and Regulatory Practice, Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, has been asked by the Minister of Labour to develop an Approved Code of Practice for Health and Safety Representatives in the Upstream Petroleum sector.

This code will be approved pursuant to section 20(1) of the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992.

The Approved Code of Practice for Health and Safety Representatives in the Upstream Petroleum Sector will set out a statement of preferred work practices or arrangements for health and safety representatives for those working in this sector.

The code is to be developed with industry and union representatives and it is intended the final draft will be made available for public consultation and feedback in early 2013.

Radiocommunications Regulations (General User Radio Licence for Amateur Radio Operators) Notice 2012

Pursuant to section 111 of the Radiocommunications Act 1989 and Regulation 9 of the Radiocommunications Regulations 2001, and acting under delegated authority from the chief executive, I give the following notice.

N o t i c e

1. Short title and commencement—(1) This notice is the Radiocommunications Regulations (General User Radio Licence for Amateur Radio Operators) Notice 2012.

(2) This notice comes into force on 20 December 2012.

2. General user radio licence—A general user radio licence is granted for the transmission of radio waves by amateur radio operators in New Zealand, for the purpose of communications in the amateur radio service in accordance with the terms, conditions and restrictions of this notice.

3. Terms, conditions and restrictions applying to New Zealand amateur operators—(1) Persons who hold a General Amateur Operator’s Certificate of Competency and a callsign issued pursuant to the Regulations may operate an amateur radio station in New Zealand.

(2) The callsign prefix of “ZL” may be substituted with the prefix “ZM” by the callsign holder for the period of, and participation in, a recognised contest, or as the control station for special event communications.
