The Roman Catholic Bishop of the Diocese of Palmerston North (Attendance Dues) Notice 2012

Under section 36(2) of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, and acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education, I approve that the attendance dues payable to the Roman Catholic Bishop of the Diocese of Palmerston North in respect of any pupil at the following schools shall be a maximum of $475.00 (exclusive of GST) per pupil per annum for pupils in years 0–8 and a maximum of $950.00 (exclusive of GST) per pupil per annum for pupils in years 9–13:

Trust Board of the Brothers of Christian Schools in New Zealand (Attendance Dues) Notice 2012

Under section 36(2) of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, and acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education, I approve that the attendance dues payable to the Trust Board of the Brothers of Christian Schools in New Zealand in respect of any pupil at Francis Douglas Memorial College (New Plymouth) shall be a maximum of $475.00 (exclusive of GST) per pupil per annum for pupils in years 7–8 and a maximum of $950.00 (exclusive of GST) per pupil per annum for pupils in years 9–13.

Westminster Christian School Incorporated (Attendance Dues) Notice 2012

Under section 36(2) of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, and acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education, I approve that the attendance dues payable to Westminster Christian School Incorporated in respect of any pupil at Westminster Christian School (Auckland) shall be a maximum of $1,380.00 (exclusive of GST) per pupil for 2013 and a maximum of $900.00 (exclusive of GST) per pupil per annum from 2014.

Human Tissue Act 2008

Notice of Exempt Participants in the National Paired Kidney Donation Exchange Scheme

Pursuant to section 60 of the Human Tissue Act 2008 ("the Act"), I, Tony Ryall, Minister of Health, exempt participants in the national paired kidney donation exchange scheme administered by Auckland District Health Board from sections 56, 58, 59, and 61 of the Act with respect only to the donation and receipt of human kidneys.

Sections 56, 58, 59 and 61 of the Act continue to apply to participants for all other purposes:

Paired donation exchange scheme means a living kidney donor sharing scheme, in which recipients and their donors, who are tissue incompatible, are tissue matched with other recipients and donors to identify a chain of compatible donor/recipient pairs, allowing a number of simultaneous live donor kidney transplants.

For the avoidance of doubt, this exemption applies only to the extent that the donation and receipt of human kidneys by participants in the national paired kidney donation exchange scheme may be consideration for the purposes of sections 56, 58, 59, and 61 of the Act.

The notice takes effect from the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.
