Pursuant to section 385(3) of the Companies Act 1993, I, Peter Barker, Deputy Registrar of Companies, hereby prohibit Edward John Harman from being a director or promoter of, or being concerned in, or taking part, whether directly or indirectly, in the management of any company for a period of three years and three months as from the date of this notice.

Notice of Entry into Possession of Mortgaged Land

In the matter of section 137 of the Property Law Act 2007, and in the matter of mortgage instrument 8395840.1 ("the mortgage"):

General Finance Limited ("the mortgagee" under the mortgage) hereby gives notice that it is deemed to be in possession of the mortgaged land described below with effect from 14 September 2012, being the date that it applied to the High Court at Auckland for orders giving it vacant possession and such orders being made on 6 November 2012.

The description of the land is the property known as 185 Dangen Road, Peria, RD 2, Kaitaia, and having legal description as an estate in fee simple being certificate of title NA118B/183 (North Auckland Land Registry).

This notice is given by the solicitors for the mortgagee, Keegan Alexander.

Notice of Entry into Possession of Mortgaged Land

Bramwell & Grossman Nominees Limited, the mortgagee of Actual C Properties Limited under mortgage 8136740.2, gives notice that on 15 November 2012, it entered into possession of the land known as 120 Hautapu Street, Taihape, being the fee simple estates comprised in certificate of title WN109/11, more particularly described as Part Section 2, Block II, Township of Taihape and certificate of title WN33A/84, more particularly described as Lot 1, DP 63592.

The mortgagee entered into possession pursuant to its rights under a notice issued under section 119 of the Property Law Act 2007.

Unsafe Goods (Multipurpose Ladders) Notice 2012

Pursuant to section 31 of the Fair Trading Act 1986, the Minister of Consumer Affairs gives the following notice.

Notice

  1. Title—This notice may be cited as the Unsafe Goods (Multipurpose Ladders) Notice 2012.

  2. Commencement—This notice is effective from the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  3. Application—This notice applies to new multipurpose ladders supplied, or offered for supply, or advertised for supply, in trade.

  4. Definitions—For the purposes of this notice:

    multipurpose ladder means any portable ladder having one or more pairs of articulation joints which allow the ladder to be rearranged to function as a single ladder, with or without a stand-off, as a single or double sided step ladder, scaffold or work platform;

    articulation joint means a hinge which is capable of being locked in one or more positions.

  5. Period of notice—This notice will be in force for a period of 18 months from the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette unless revoked by the Minister of Consumer Affairs by notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

  6. Certain ladders to be declared unsafe goods—The following are unsafe goods:

    Any new multipurpose ladder which does not fully comply with Section 2, Section 7 and all other applicable parts of AS/NZS 1892 Portable ladders.

    Note: Markings, as specified in AS/NZS 1892.1:1996 clause 2.7(a) must indicate the New Zealand importer or manufacturer.
