Notice of Treaty of Waitangi Settlement Discontinued Crown Protected Area Names for Rongowhakaata

Pursuant to sections 49, 52, 53 and 64 of the Rongowhakaata Claims Settlement Act 2012 (“the Settlement Act 2012”), the New Zealand Geographic Board Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa (“Board”) hereby gives notice of discontinued Crown Protected Area (CPA) names.

The Schedule below specifies the details of the discontinued CPA names; their generic terms; descriptions; and former names, which took effect on 1 August 2012, being the date the Settlement Act 2012 came into effect.
