Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988
Notice of Initiation: Review of Anti-dumping Duty on Diaries from The People’s Republic of China and Malaysia
Pursuant to section 14(8) of the Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988, and acting under delegated authority from the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, I have initiated a review of the imposition of anti-dumping duty in respect of the goods described in the Schedule to this notice (the goods).
This initiation follows the receipt of an application made by the New Zealand industry providing positive evidence justifying the need for a review.
Anti-dumping duty was imposed on the goods as the result of an anti-dumping investigation in 2007.
The current rate of duty on the goods was published in the New Zealand Gazette, 18 October 2007, No. 112, page 2995.

Description of Goods
Diaries, with or without covers, excluding: diaries with steel ring binders; and wallplanners.
The goods are classified under tariff item and statistical key 4820.10.00 02J of the Tariff of New Zealand, which classification is provided for convenience and Customs purposes only, the written description being dispositive.

Notice Declaring Clean Zone and Clean Period for the ITU World Triathlon Championship Grand Final 2012
Pursuant to section 16(1) of the Major Events Management Act 2007 (“the Act”), the Minister for Economic Development gives the following notice.

Commencement and purpose—This notice, which comes into force on 11 October 2012, declares a clean zone and clean period, pursuant to section 16 of the Act, for the ITU World Triathlon Championship Grand Final 2012.

Clean zone and clean period—(1) The clean zone and clean period for the ITU World Triathlon Championship Grand Final 2012 are set out in the Schedule to this notice.
(2) The clean zone in the Schedule includes the land comprising the street or road included in the clean zone up to the boundary of any abutting land at the outside edge of the clean zone.

Excluded land and buildings—For the avoidance of doubt, the clean zone described in the Schedule does not include any excluded land or buildings as described in section 16(5) of the Act.

The clean zone consists of the area shown in Map A, including:
(a) Queens Wharf, Cooks Wharf, and the adjacent area between these two wharves and Quay Street;
(b) Quay Street from Queen Street to Tangihua Street;
(c) Queen Street from Quay Street to Mayoral Drive;
(d) Shortland Street from Queen Street to Princess Street;
(e) Princess Street from Shortland Street to Bowen Avenue;
(f) Bowen Avenue from Princess Street to Victoria Street;
(g) Victoria Street from Bowen Avenue to Albert Street;
(h) Albert Street from Victoria Street to Custom Street West;
