Land Transport Management Act 2003
Public Availability of NZ Transport Agency 2012–2015 National Land Transport Programme
The NZ Transport Agency (NZTA) gives notice of the release of the National Land Transport Programme (NLTP), covering the three years from 2012/13 to 2014/15.
This document is now publicly available in accordance with section 108 of the Land Transport Management Act 2003.
This three-year NLTP is the result of an extensive development process during which 16 regional transport committees and Auckland Transport developed regional land transport programmes outlining the activities they sought to be included in the NLTP.
This regional perspective enabled the NZTA to build an overview of land transport requirements across New Zealand and to balance regional and national priorities in deciding on the best investment programme to maximise value for money across the country.
The NLTP has been published and can be viewed and freely downloaded from the NZTA website:
www.nzta.govt.nz/nltp
Alternatively, users can inspect the NLTP at any of the NZTA’s offices (see website for office locations) or they can obtain a print-out of the web information by emailing:
