2982 NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE, No. 102 24 AUGUST 2012

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

The operative provisions of this Order come into force on 30 September 2012. This Order replaces the Registered Bank Disclosure Statements (Overseas Incorporated Registered Banks) Order 2012.

The main purpose of this Order is to give legal effect to the current versions of material incorporated by reference in reliance on section 81AA and in accordance with Schedule 3 of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1989. This Order also corrects clause 1(1)(d) of Schedule 4, clause 1(2)(b) of Schedule 5 and clause 1(2)(b) of Schedule 6 to clarify when disclosure of retail deposits in New Zealand is required.

1926–1999 (Crown Copyright): Issues from this period remain subject to Crown copyright.
