Land Declared Road, and Road Stopped and Added to Turangarere Scenic Reserve—State Highway 1 Hihitahi, Ruapehu District
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand:
(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road which, pursuant to section 5 of the Land Transport Management Act 2003, forms part of State Highway 1;
(b) Pursuant to section 116, declares the portions of road adjoining or passing through the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be stopped and, pursuant to section 117(7), to be added to the adjoining Scenic Reserve (Turangarere Scenic Reserve – Gazette Notice 628143.2), subject to section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991 and Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987 and shall remain vested in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Pursuant to section 42(3) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand:
(a) Declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto to be exempt from the provision of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925 and to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948; and
