Land Declared Road and Set Apart for Use in Connection With a Road—State Highway 1, Main South Road, Rolleston, Selwyn District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Kerry McPhail, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 52, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be set apart for use in connection with a road and shall remain vested in the Crown;

(b) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be road which, pursuant to section 88(2) of the Government Roading Powers Act 1989, becomes road, limited access road and State highway and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Land for Road and Road to be Stopped—Ikamatua, Buller District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Paul Stephen Kelly, Land Information New Zealand, pursuant to agreements to that effect having been entered into:

(a) Pursuant to section 114(1), declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road and shall vest in the Buller District Council;

(b) Pursuant to section 116(1), declares the road described in the Second, Third and Fourth Schedules to this notice to be stopped; and

(c) Pursuant to section 117(3)(b):

(i) the stopped road described in the Second Schedule shall become Crown Land, subject to the Land Act 1948; and

(ii) the stopped road described in the Third Schedule shall revest in Her Majesty The Queen as riverbed (Mawheraiti (Little Grey) River, Snowy River and Blackwater River);

(d) Pursuant to sections 117(3)(b) and 120(3), declares the stopped road described in the Fourth Schedule shall amalgamate with the land contained in Computer Freehold Register NL10B/287 Nelson Land Registry, subject to the rights, interests, easements and mortgages contained therein on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
