Change of the Classification of a Reserve
Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Acting Conservation Support Manager for the East Coast Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation changes the classification of the reserve described in the Schedule from an esplanade reserve to a historic reserve, subject to the provisions of the Act.

Change of Classification of Part of a Reserve
Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Acting Conservator for the East Coast Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation changes the classification of that part of the reserve described in the Schedule from a Government purpose reserve to a historic reserve, subject to the provisions of the Act.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Local Purpose Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How to Utilise Proceeds of Sale
Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Acting Conservation Support Manager for the East Coast Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the reservation as local purpose reserve over the land described in the Schedule and declares that the land may be disposed of by the council in such manner, at a price and on terms and conditions as the council determines, the proceeds from the sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such money to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of council or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

Under the Reserves Act 1977, and by reason of an error made in the notice described subsequently, the Acting Conservator for the East Coast Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the notice headed Change of Classification of Part of a Reserve, dated the 14th day of January 2011 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 27 January 2011, No. 7, page 161, and issues the following notice as a fresh notice in its place.

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Acting Conservator for the East Coast Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation grants representatives of Ngāiterangi, Ngāi Pōtiki, Ngāti He, Ngāti Pūkenga, Waitaha, Tapuika, Ngāti Whakaue and Te Arawa Lake Trust the right to bury the bones of unknown deceased Māori in the ancestral burial ground situated within the boundaries of the place specified therein.
