Notice of Vacancy in Seat in House of Representatives

Pursuant to section 134(1) of the Electoral Act 1993,
I, Alexander Lockwood Smith, Speaker of the House
of Representatives, give notice that Darren Colyn Hughes
has resigned his seat in the House of Representatives with
effect at the close of Tuesday 5 April 2011, and that the seat
is vacant by reason of that resignation.
