Reserves Act 1977

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, the New Plymouth District Council hereby notifies that a resolution to the following effect was passed by the council on 2 March 2010:

"That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, and acting under an instrument of delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said district by way of a vesting as closed cemetery pursuant to Section 78 of the Cemeteries Act 1908 under notice published in New Zealand Gazette 1908 page 2580 and described in the Schedule shall be and the same is hereby declared to be gazetted a local purpose (closed cemetery) reserve and pursuant to Section 16(2) is deemed to be classified for that purpose within the meaning of the Act".

Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993

Setting Apart Māori Freehold Land as a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338(1) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of an urupā for the common use and benefit of all whānau members who are descendants of the original owners as well as the wider whānau who are not descendants of the original owners.

Walking Access Act 2008

Land to be Declared a Walkway—Dry Acheron Station, Canterbury

Under section 31 of the Walking Access Act 2008, I declare that the land described in the Schedule below shall be a walkway and is assigned the name Dry Acheron Track.

Under section 35 of the Walking Access Act 2008, and with the consent of the Minister of Conservation given under delegated authority pursuant to section 28 of the State Sector Act 1988, I appoint the Department of Conservation to be the controlling authority of this walkway.
