Classification of Reserves
Pursuant to section 24A of the Reserves Act 1977, the Porirua City Council hereby reclassifies:
(a) The land described in the First Schedule hereto from local purpose (fitness trail) reserve to local purpose (landscape and environment protection) reserve, subject to section 23 of the said Act; and
(b) The land described in the Second Schedule hereto from local purpose (neighbourhood) reserve to local purpose (landscape and environment protection) reserve.

Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993
Declaring Māori Freehold Land to be Included in a Māori Reservation
Pursuant to section 338(2) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court dated the 30th day of March 2009, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is to be set apart as a Māori reservation and included in the Owhetu Block (Tuatahi Wahitapu) Māori reservation.
The purpose of the reservation is a historical wāhi tapu for the common use and benefit of the descendants of Tuatahi (as published in the New Zealand Gazette, 15 June 2006, No. 57, page 1434).
