HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL
PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

Pursuant to section 216 of the Resource Management Act 1991, His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following Order.

Order

Title—This order is the Water Conservation (Kawarau) Amendment Order 2011.
Commencement—This order comes into force 28 days after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
Principal order amended—This order amends the Water Conservation (Kawarau) Order 1997*.
Further exemptions—Clause 6 is amended as follows:
(1) Paragraph 6(1)(b) is amended by inserting "; and" after "Hunter Stream".
(2) Sub-clause 6(1) is amended by inserting the following new paragraph (c) after paragraph (b):
(c) the Shotover River from the present state highway bridge (NZTopo50 CC11 657 082) to its confluence with the Kawarau River.
(3) Paragraph 6(2)(a) is amended by inserting "except for the water body referred to in subclause (1)(c)" after "bridges".
(4) Paragraph 6(3)(a) is amended by inserting "and any connected water bodies" after "bodies".

Pursuant to section 20 of the Medicines Act 1981, the Minister of Health hereby consents to the distribution in New Zealand of the new medicine which was referred to the Minister of Health under the provisions of section 24(5) of the Act and is set out in the Schedule hereto:
