Change of Name of Reserve
Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservation Support Manager of the Waikato Conservancy of the Department of Conservation declares that the scenic reserve described in the Schedule and known as the Bridal Veil Falls Scenic Reserve is to be known as the Wairēinga Scenic Reserve.

Road Realignment—State Highway 1 Clarendon, Clutha District
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand:
(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road which, pursuant to section 88(2) of the Government Roading Powers Act 1989, becomes road, limited access road and State highway and shall vest in the Crown;
(b) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be road and shall vest in the Clutha District Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Redefining the Purpose and the Persons or Class of Persons for Whose Use or Benefit the Māori Reservation Was Set Apart
Pursuant to section 338(5) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, the purpose and the persons or class of persons for whose use or benefit the Māori Reservation that was set aside by notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 18 July 1991, No. 107, page 2372, and described in the Schedule hereto is hereby amended to
"a papakāinga for the common use and benefit of the descendants of the original owners with the power to set aside such portion as the trustees shall decide for the purpose of grazing from time to time."
