Notice of Variation of a Scheduled International Air Service Licence
Pursuant to the Civil Aviation Act 1990, sections 41(1) and 42 of the State Sector Act 1988, and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 6 November 2007, I, John William Macilree, Principal Adviser, Aviation, in the Ministry of Transport, hereby give notice that the Secretary for Transport has exercised the power conferred by section 87Q(4) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990 to vary the terms of the scheduled international air service licence issued to China Southern Airlines to authorise the airline to increase its operating capacity from three to seven return services per week with any aircraft type.
This variation will take effect on 31 October 2011.

Notice of Variation of a Scheduled International Air Service Licence
Pursuant to section 87Q(4) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, sections 41(1) and 42 of the State Sector Act 1988, and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 6 November 2007, I, John William Macilree, Principal Adviser, Aviation, in the Ministry of Transport, hereby give notice that the Secretary for Transport has exercised the power conferred by section 87Q of the Civil Aviation Act 1990 to vary the terms of the scheduled international air service licence issued to Air China International to remove its entitlement of three return services per week in order to reallocate these to China Southern Airlines.
Air China’s licence will remain valid for code-sharing with a New Zealand operating carrier.
This variation took effect on 25 October 2011.
