A PROCLAMATION

I, The Right Honourable Dame Sian Elias, Administrator of the Government, hereby declare that, pursuant to the Electoral Act 1993, I have today signed the Writ authorising and requiring the Electoral Commission to conduct a general election.

Given under the hand of Her Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, on 26 October 2011.
