The Order also changes the tariff structure for motor spirits.

Tariff (Harmonised System) Amendment Order 2011

Notice is hereby given of the making, pursuant to section 10 of the Tariff Act 1988, of Regulations for the purposes of the Regulations (Disallowance) Act 1989.

Notice

  1. Title—This Order is the Tariff (Harmonised System) Amendment Order 2011.

  2. Commencement—The Order shall come into force on 1 January 2012.

  3. Effect of Order—This Order implements numerous changes to the tariff nomenclature as part of New Zealand’s obligations as a signatory to the International Convention on the Harmonised Commodity Description and Coding System. The Order also corrects some minor tariff nomenclature drafting errors of a historical nature unrelated to the HS2012.

Student Election Extension Notice

Pursuant to clause 9(2) of the Sixth Schedule to the Education Act 1989, and acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education, I hereby extend the period for closing the poll and all subsequent actions in accordance with the Education (School Trustee Elections) Regulations 2000 for the election of a student representative for Westland High School Board of Trustees.

Voting for the elections shall now close on 30 November 2011.

This notice takes effect the day after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
