Electricity Industry Act 2010

Notice of Adoption of Replacement Procurement Plan

1. Pursuant to clause 5(c) of Schedule 1 of the Electricity Industry Act 2010 (“Act”), I give notice that the Electricity Authority (“Authority”) adopts a replacement procurement plan for the purposes of clause 8.41 of the Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010 (“Code”).

2. The adoption of the procurement plan has effect from 1 December 2011.

3. The procurement plan is a document incorporated by reference into the Code as having legal effect in accordance with section 32 of the Act.

4. A copy of the procurement plan and the Code is available on the Authority’s website www.ea.govt.nz/act-code-regs/code-regs/the-code/

5. A copy of the procurement plan and the Code may also be inspected free of charge or purchased from the Electricity Authority, Level 7, ASB Bank Tower, 2 Hunter Street, Wellington.

Fire Service Act 1975

Whangarei Fire District Notice, September 2011

Under section 26 of the Fire Service Act 1975, the New Zealand Fire Service Commission gives the following notice.

Notice

1. This notice is the Whangarei Fire District Notice, September 2011.

2. This notice comes into force on the day of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

3. This notice revokes and is in substitution for all previous fire district notices for the Whangarei Fire District.

Constitution of a Fire District

(a) The urban area of Whangarei is constituted as a Fire District.

(b) The Fire District is assigned the name “Whangarei Fire District”.

(c) The boundary of the Fire District is defined and delineated on plans held at the National Headquarters, New Zealand Fire Service, Wellington.

Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes, Declaration That the Area Become a Reserve and Classification of Reserve and Vesting in the Queenstown Lakes District Council

Under the Conservation Act 1987, the Conservator of the Otago Conservancy of the Department of Conservation declares that the land described in the Schedule is held for conservation purposes and further declares that the conservation area be set apart as a reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977, is classified as a recreation reserve and vests the reserve in the Queenstown Lakes District Council in trust for that purpose, subject to the provisions of the latter Act.

Authorisation of the Exchange of Marginal Strip for Another Strip of Land

Under the Conservation Act 1987, the Conservator for the Otago Conservancy of the Department of Conservation authorises the exchange of the marginal strip described in the First Schedule for the land described in the Second Schedule which is deemed to be reserved as marginal strip pursuant to section 243E(3) of the Act.
