  1. At the expiry of the above clause all non-registered anaesthetic technicians will be required to provide evidence that they hold a relevant qualification as approved by the Council and as set out in clauses 1–3 above.

  2. New Zealand registered and enrolled nurses who have at least five years post-nursing-qualification specialised anaesthetic technology experience in a New Zealand health facility, including the five-year period preceding 1 April 2012, may apply for registration as an anaesthetic technician. The nurse may be required to undergo a work-based assessment as approved by the Council. This pathway to registration will be available through to 31 March 2013.

  3. At the expiry of the above clause all registered and enrolled nurses who wish to practise as an anaesthetic technician will be required to provide evidence that they hold a qualification as approved by the Council and as set out in clauses 1–3 above.

Notification of Rates of Levy Pursuant to the Commodity Levies (Fish) Order 2002

Pursuant to the Commodity Levies (Fish) Order 2002 (“the Order”) and the Constitution of The New Zealand Seafood Industry Council Limited (SeaFIC), SeaFIC hereby gives notice that:

  1. the Total Levy Rates listed in column 8 of Schedule 1 below are the rates of levy levied on fish, required to be notified in terms of clauses 9 and 11 of the Order, for the Levy Year 1 October 2011 to 30 September 2012 (inclusive); and

  2. the Core Services Levy Rates, the Stock Specific Levy Rates and the Total Levy Rates in columns 3, 5 and 8 of Schedule 1, are the rates required to be notified in terms of clause 5.1 of the Fifth Schedule to SeaFIC’s Constitution for the Levy Year 1 October 2011 to 30 September 2012 (inclusive).
