Burial and Cremation Act 1964

Notice Confirming the Purpose of the Land Acquired by the Timaru District Council is That of a Cemetery

Whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto was purchased by the Timaru District Council and the Timaru District Council is the registered proprietor of that land,

and whereas the purpose of the Timaru District Council acquiring the land described in the Schedule hereto is to extend the boundaries of the present Timaru Cemetery.

Pursuant to section 53(1) of the Burial and Cremation Act 1964, the Timaru District Council, as the present owner of the land described in the Schedule hereto, seeks to confirm the purpose of the said land to be for a cemetery and for this purpose to be recorded on the said land’s Certificates of Title.

Canterbury Land District—Timaru District Council

Schedule

The land situated at Collins Street, Timaru, being 5666 square metres and being described as Lots 102, 107, 109, 112 and 113 DP 263, being all the land comprised (respectively) in Certificates of Title CB59/110, CB22B/332, CB37/255, CB38/284 and CB59/158 (Canterbury Land District).

Public Works Act 1981

Land Declared Road—Ormiston Road, Flat Bush, Auckland

Pursuant to section 114 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, R. J. Sutherland, Land Information New Zealand, declares the land described in the Schedule to this notice to be road and shall vest in the Auckland Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

North Auckland Land District—Auckland Council

Road to be Stopped and Amalgamated—Adjoining Otorohanga Road/State Highway 3, Tokanui, Waipa District

Pursuant to sections 116 and 117 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares the portion of road described in the Schedule to this notice to be stopped and, pursuant to section 120(3), be amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register SA905/73, subject to all existing encumbrances.

South Auckland Land District—Waipa District

Land Declared Road—State Highway 57, Old West Road/Tennent Drive Realignment, Palmerston North City

Pursuant to section 114 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares the land described in the Schedule to this notice to be road which, pursuant to section 5 of the Land Transport Management Act 2003, forms part of State Highway 57 and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
