Pursuant to section 28(1)(a) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, and section 6 of the Fire Service Act 1975, the Minister of Internal Affairs has made the following appointments to the New Zealand Fire Service Commission Board

Rt Hon Wyatt Beetham Creech
as the board chair for the remainder of his term commencing 1 August 2011 and concluding on 30 September 2012;

David John McFarlane
as the board deputy chair for the remainder of his term commencing 1 August 2011 and concluding on 30 September 2012;
and

Angela Irmgard Hauk-Willis
as a board member for a three-year term commencing on 1 August 2011 and concluding on 31 July 2014.
