Licensing Criteria for Early Childhood Education and Care Services Notice 2011

Pursuant to Regulation 41(3) of the Education (Early Childhood Services) Regulations 2008 and Regulation 17(2) of the Education (Playgroups) Regulations 2008, the Secretary for Education gives notice that:

Licensing Criteria for Early Childhood Education and Care Centres 2008;

Licensing Criteria for Hospital-based Education and Care Services 2008;

Licensing Criteria for Home-based Education and Care Services 2008;

Licensing Criteria for Kōhanga Reo affiliated with Te Kōhanga Reo National Trust 2008; and

Certification Criteria for Playgroups 2008 (notified in the New Zealand Gazette, 24 July 2008, No. 116, page 3074), were amended on 7 July 2011.

The amended criteria have been prescribed by the Minister of Education in accordance with Regulation 41(1) of the Education (Early Childhood Services) Regulations 2008 and Regulation 17(1) of the Education (Playgroups) Regulations 2008, for the purpose of assessing compliance with the minimum standards set out in the above-mentioned Regulations.

Supplementary Integration Agreements

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that supplementary integration agreements have been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen, acting through the Group Manager, Education, Curriculum and Performance, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietors of the following schools:
