Land Transfer Act / Joint Family Homes Act Notices

Notice Pursuant to Section 70 of the Land Transfer Act 1952

The applicants described below have applied, under section 70 of the Land Transfer Act 1952, for the removal of a right of way easement.

The applicants claim the right of way easement is redundant by reason of the circumstances set out below.

I intend to remove the right of way easement on 15 August 2011, if no objections have been received before that date.

Easement: Right of way over part marked “E” and “D” on DPS 33075 specified in Easement Certificate H484218.3 on 2 July 1983.

Circumstances: Part of the dominant land has become physically separated from the servient land as a result of subdivision.

I hereby give notice of an application lodged with me for the issue of a Computer Freehold Register to the below-named applicants, pursuant to section 3 of the Land Transfer Amendment Act 1963, for the land described below.

Such Computer Freehold Register may be issued and existing estates and interests determined unless caveat forbidding that is lodged with me on or before 7 September 2011.

Notice of Direction to Suspend Business

Friendly Societies and Credit Union Act 1982

The Registrar of Friendly Societies and Credit Unions gives notice that a direction has been given to the HIBERNIAN CREDIT UNION under section 139 of the Friendly Societies and Credit Unions Act 1982.

The Hibernian Credit Union has been prohibited from carrying on all or any of the following activities from 7 July 2011:

(a) Borrowing money;

(b) accepting a payment representing the whole or any part of an amount due by way of subscription for a share in the credit union, other than a payment which fell due before the making of the direction;

(c) lending money;

(d) repaying share capital; and

(e) accepting new members.
