Land Transport Management Act 2003

Revoking a State Highway and Declaring a Section of State Highway—State Highway 2, Mangatawhiri

Pursuant to section 103 of the Land Transport Management Act 2003, the Acting Secretary for Transport gives notice that, with effect from 17 June 2010:

(a) Part of State Highway 2 described in the First Schedule is revoked.

(b) The section of new road described in the Second Schedule is declared to be State Highway 2.

First Schedule

Part of State Highway 2 in Franklin District commencing at Route Position 0/7.41 and extending in a generally easterly direction through the township of Mangatawhiri to the Maramarua Golf Course at Route Position 0/14.74; a total distance of approximately 7.33 kilometres.

Second Schedule

State Highway 2 to include the newly constructed section of road in Franklin District commencing on an existing section of State Highway 2 at Route Position 0/7.41 and extending in a generally easterly direction through to the Maramarua Golf Course at Route Position 0/13.66; a distance of approximately 6.25 kilometres.

Revoking a State Highway and Declaring a Section of State Highway—State Highway 1, Avalon Drive, Hamilton

Pursuant to section 103 of the Land Transport Management Act 2003, the Acting Secretary for Transport gives notice that, with effect from 17 June 2010:

(a) Part of State Highway 1 described in the First Schedule is revoked.

(b) The section of new road described in the Second Schedule is declared to be State Highway 1.

First Schedule

Part of State Highway 1 commencing from Route Position 0543/5.39, 160 metres south of the intersection of Avalon Drive and Crawford Street and extending in a generally southerly direction to Route Position 0543/7.55 (on Lincoln Street); the length of road to be revoked is 2.0 kilometres.

Second Schedule

Part of State Highway 1 in Hamilton commencing from Route Position 0543/5.39, 160 metres south of the intersection of Avalon Drive and Crawford Street and extending in a generally southerly direction along the recently constructed Avalon Drive Bypass to Route Position 0543/7.95 (about 224 metres north of Edgar Street); a total distance of 2.4 kilometres.

Declaring a Section of State Highway—State Highway 2, Tauranga

Pursuant to section 103 of the Land Transport Management Act 2003, the Acting Secretary for Transport gives notice that, with effect from 17 June 2010, the section of new road described in the Schedule is declared to be State Highway 2.

Schedule

State Highway 2 to include the newly constructed section of road in Tauranga City commencing on an existing section of State Highway 2 at Route Position 151/4.036 and extending in a generally north-easterly direction on the Chapel Street Viaduct through to the termination of the Chapel Street Viaduct at Route Position 151/4.576; a distance of approximately 0.54 kilometres.
