Reserves Act 1977

Change of Classification of a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservation Support Manager for the Whanganui Conservancy of the Department of Conservation changes the classification of the reserve described in the Schedule from a local purpose (community building) reserve to a historic reserve, subject to the provisions of the Act.

Naming of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, the Matamata-Piako District Council notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Matamata-Piako District Council on 12 May 2010:

"In exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 16 of the Reserves Act 1977, Matamata-Piako District Council declares that the Recreation Reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, shall hereafter be known as Hinuera Recreation Reserve."
