Lake Rotoma School (1788) Board of Trustees Election Invalidation Notice

Pursuant to clauses 9(3) and 9(3A) of the Sixth Schedule to the Education Act 1989, and acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education, I declare invalid the election for the Lake Rotoma School Board of Trustees, require a new election to be held on 18 June 2010 and declare that the parent representatives who currently hold office remain in office until the close of the day before the day on which the new trustees take office.

This notice takes effect the day after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Waste Minimisation Act 2008

Appointments to the Waste Advisory Board

Pursuant to section 93 of the Waste Minimisation Act 2008 ("the Act"), the Minister for the Environment called for nominations for potential Waste Advisory Board members in November 2009*.

Pursuant to section 93 of the Act, the Minister has reappointed

• Robert George Mappin Fenwick as chairperson; and
• Morris Te Whiti Love as a member.

The Minister has also appointed the Glass Packaging Forum’s nominee

• David Carter

as a new member of the board.

All terms are for three years from the date of this notice.
