Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996

Notice of Approval of Code of Practice

Pursuant to section 79(5) of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996 ("the HSNO Act"), the Environmental Risk Management Authority advises that it approved on 22 December 2010, the Code of Practice for LPG Cylinders Manufactured to EN1442:2006 + A1:2008.

This code has been developed by On Gas Limited and provides a means of compliance with the requirements of Regulation 10(c) of the Hazardous Substances (Compressed Gases) Regulations 2004 in respect of cylinders for the transport and use of LPG.

Pursuant to section 80(1) of the HSNO Act, this code may be inspected on request at the Wellington office of the Environmental Risk Management Authority, Level 1, BP House, 20 Customhouse Quay, Wellington.

The Authorised Futures Dealers Notice (No. 4) 2007 Amendment Notice 2010

Pursuant to section 38 of the Securities Markets Act 1988, the Securities Commission gives the following notice.

Notice

Clause 1: Title and commencement—(1) This notice is the Authorised Futures Dealers Notice (No. 4) 2007 Amendment Notice 2010 and is part of the Authorised Futures Dealers Notice (No. 4) 2007 (the “principal notice”)*.

(2) This notice comes into force on the day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

Clause 2: Schedule amended—The Schedule of the principal notice is amended by inserting, in its appropriate alphabetical order, the name “Elementum Advisors, LLC”.

Conservation Act 1987

Revocation of a Notice Relating to an Exchange of Marginal Strip and Issue of a Fresh Notice

Under section 50A of the Conservation Act 1987, and by reason of an error made in the notice described subsequently, the Conservator for the Otago Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the notice headed Authorisation of Exchange of Marginal Strip for Another Strip of Land dated the 29th day of September 2009 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 8 October 2009, No. 148, page 3594, and issues the following notice as a fresh notice in its place.

Authorisation of Exchange of Marginal Strip for Another Strip of Land

Under the Conservation Act 1987, the Conservator for the Otago Conservancy of the Department of Conservation authorises the exchanges of the marginal strip described in the First Schedule for the strip of land in the Second Schedule which is deemed to be reserved as marginal strip pursuant to section 24E(3) of the Act.

Education Act 1989

Land Declared No Longer Required for Education Purposes

Pursuant to section 70A of the Education Act 1989, and pursuant to an authority delegated to me, I, Paul Dickson Burke, Group Manager Property, Ministry of Education, Wellington, hereby give the following notice.

Notice

1. The land described in the Schedule to this notice is no longer required for education purposes.

2. This notice shall come into force on 21 January 2010.
