Declaration That Land is a Reserve
Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, the New Plymouth District Council hereby notifies that a resolution to the following effect was passed by the council on 26 August 2008:
“That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, and acting under an instrument of delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said district in an estate in fee simple and described in the Schedule shall be and the same is hereby declared to be gazetted a recreation reserve and is deemed pursuant to Section 16(2) to be classified for that purpose within the meaning of the said Act, and furthermore the Council acting pursuant to the statutory powers contained in Section 16(10) of the Act declares the said reserve to be named the Kotahi Recreation Reserve.”
