Declaration of Reserve Land
Pursuant to section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, and a Council resolution dated the 24th day of February 2010, the Palmerston North City Council hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be a recreation reserve.
This land will be administered by the council for the purposes and in the manner specified in section 17 of the Reserves Act 1977.
Wellington Land District—Palmerston North City
An estate in fee simple in all that parcel of land containing 3.5106 hectares, being Lot 1 DP 78518 (Computer Freehold Register WN45A/569), and being part of the land generally known as the Railway Land.

Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993
Setting Land Apart as a Māori Reservation
Pursuant to section 338(5)(d) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land that was set apart for the purpose of a reservation by a notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 10 October 1991, No. 153, page 3235, and described in the Schedule hereto, is redefined to be for the use of the land as a marae and an urupā for the benefit of the descendants of Te Whānau a Te Aopare.
