New Zealand Transport Agency (Maximum Speeds of Vehicles on State Highways) Amendment Bylaw 2010/03

Pursuant to section 61(3) of the Government Roading Powers Act 1989 and the Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits 2003, the New Zealand Transport Agency hereby makes the following bylaw.

Bylaw

  1. Title and commencement—This bylaw may be cited as the New Zealand Transport Agency (Maximum Speeds of Vehicles on State Highways) Amendment Bylaw 2010/03 and will come into force 28 days after the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

  2. Amendment—The New Zealand Transport Agency (Maximum Speeds of Vehicles on State Highways) Bylaw 2005/7* is hereby amended by:

Inserting new line 102(a) in Schedule 3 to read:

Declaration That a Conservation Area Becomes a Reserve, With the Wellington City Council Appointed to Control and Manage the Reserve

Under the Conservation Act 1987 and the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservator for the Wellington Hawke’s Bay Conservancy of the Department of Conservation declares that the conservation area described in the First Schedule shall be set apart as a reserve and classified for scenic purposes for the purposes of section 19(1)(b) of the Reserves Act 1977, and declares that the conservation area described in the Second Schedule shall be set apart as a reserve and classified for recreation purposes, subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and appoints the Wellington City Council to control and manage both reserves under the provisions of section 28 of the Reserves Act 1977, subject to the Minister being able to recover any local or regional council rates from the council if such rates are levied and paid by the Crown.

Pursuant to section 70A of the Education Act 1989, and pursuant to an authority delegated to me, I, Paul Dickson Burke, Group Manager Property, Ministry of Education, Wellington, hereby give the following notice:

This notice shall come into force 1 April 2010.
