1. This is a notice made under section 91AAK of the Tax Administration Act 1994 of a depreciation determination issued by the Commissioner of Inland Revenue under section 91AAF of that Act.

2. “Determination DEP72: Tax Depreciation Rates General Determination Number 72” adds the general asset class “Furniture (loose) with a general DV of 20%” into the “Hire Equipment (short term hire of 1 month or less only)” asset category. It was signed on 30 November 2009.

Notice of Exemption for Equipment From the Health and Safety in Employment (Pressure Equipment, Cranes, and Passenger Ropeways) Regulations 1999

Pursuant to Regulation 6 of the Health and Safety in Employment (Pressure Equipment, Cranes, and Passenger Ropeways) Regulations 1999, I, Richard Steel, in exercise of the powers delegated in me by the Secretary of Labour, hereby give notice of exemption from these Regulations in entirety to 300 metres of pipeline between Macdonald 4P and Macdonald 6P production wells in Greymouth, subject to the following conditions:

1. The affected pipeline extends between the following physical end points (given in terms of NZTM 2000):
   Point 1: Northing 585 9384
   Easting 237 0953
   Point 2: Northing 585 9102
   Easting 237 1018

2. The affected pipeline shall have all duties in relation to it including design, construction, operation, maintenance and inspection carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Health and Safety in Employment (Pipelines) Regulations 1999 (notwithstanding (e)(iii) of the definition of “Pipeline” in those Regulations).
