Fisheries (Surf Clam Total Allowable Catch) Notice 2010 (No. F521)

Pursuant to section 13 of the Fisheries Act 1996, the Acting Minister of Fisheries gives the following notice.

Notice

Title and commencement—(1) This notice is the Fisheries (Surf Clam Total Allowable Catch) Notice 2010.

(2) This notice comes into force on 31 March 2010.

(3) This notice applies on and from the fishing year commencing on 1 April 2010.

Interpretation—In this notice, the quota management areas and quota management system fishstock codes have the same meanings as in the Fisheries (Declaration of New Stocks Subject to Quota Management System) Notice 2003 (SR 2003/41) published in the New Zealand Gazette, 13 March 2003, No. 25, page 744.
Total allowable catch—The total allowable catch for each quota management stock is that amount stated in the final column of the Schedule to this notice.
Revocation—The items relating to each quota management stock DAN2, DAN3, MMI3, MDI2, SAE2, SAE3, and PDO2 in the Fisheries (Total Allowable Catch) Notice (No. 4) 2003 (No. 275) published in the New Zealand Gazette, 4 December 2003, No. 166, page 4609, are revoked.
