Reserves Act 1977

Revocation of a Notice Relating to a Reserve and Issue of Fresh Notice

Under section 6(3) of the Reserves Act 1977, and by reason of an error made in the notice described subsequently, the Conservator for the Northland Conservancy, Department of Conservation, revokes the notice classifying a reserve dated the 21st day of December 2009 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 14 January 2010, No. 1, page 79, and issues the following notice as a fresh notice in its place.

Classification of Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservator for the Northland Conservancy, Department of Conservation, hereby classifies the reserve described in the Schedule as a nature reserve.

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the Canterbury Conservancy of the Department of Conservation notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Akaroa Wairewa Community Board on 7 October 2009:

"In exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Akaroa Wairewa Community Board, under delegated authority from the Christchurch City Council, resolves that those parcels of land vested in the City in fee simple and described in the Schedule, be declared to be a Recreation Reserve pursuant to Section 17 of the Reserves Act 1977."
