Amendment to a Notice—Classification of Reserves
Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the Canterbury Conservancy of the Department of Conservation amends an error in classifying Reserve 2546 dated the 18th day of October 2006 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 26 October 2006, No. 122, page 3589, by omitting from the notice the purpose
"community buildings"
and inserting with the word
"cemetery".

Declaration That Land is a Reserve
Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Matamata-Piako District Council notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Matamata-Piako District Council on 10 February 2010:
"In exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Matamata-Piako District Council resolves that the parcel of land described in the Schedule, be declared to be a Recreation Reserve, pursuant to section 17 of the Reserves Act 1977 and vested in the Matamata-Piako District Council."

Classification of Reserve
Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the West Coast Conservancy of the Department of Conservation classifies the reserve described in the Schedule as a scenic reserve for the purposes specified in section 19(1)(a) of the Act.

In the notice with the above heading published in the New Zealand Gazette, 16 May 1996, No. 48, page 1310, please amend with the following:
"Pursuant to section 338(5) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the purposes for which the Māori reservation in respect of the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby redefined for the common use and benefit of all descendants of the Ruke family, the Erueti family, the Te Wiki family, the Tarei family and the Waara family.
