Notice of Cancellation of Exemption

Pursuant to Regulation 6 of the Health and Safety in Employment (Pressure Equipment, Cranes, and Passenger Ropeways) Regulations 1999, I, Richard Steel, in exercise of the powers delegated to me by the Secretary of Labour, hereby give notice of cancellation of the exemption*, dated the 25th day of March 2010, from the Regulations, granted to 300 metres of pipeline between Macdonald 4P and Macdonald 6P production wells in Greymouth, subject to the published conditions of the exemption.

The exemption which is subject to this cancellation was published in the New Zealand Gazette, 1 April 2010, No. 39, page 1110.

The effective date of cancellation is the date of publication of this notice.

Notification of Exemption From National Library Requirement (Electronic Documents) Notice 2006 for Radio New Zealand’s Broadcast Material (Radio) Archived Within the Sound Archives / Ngā Taonga Kōrero

I, Nathan Guy, Minister Responsible for the National Library of New Zealand, notify that Radio New Zealand’s broadcast material (radio) that is archived within the Sound Archives / Ngā Taonga Kōrero is exempt from the provisions of the National Library Requirement (Electronic Documents) Notice 2006.

Radio New Zealand’s broadcast material (radio) that is archived within the Sound Archives / Ngā Taonga Kōrero meets the criterion set out in clause 9(2)(b) of the National Library Requirement (Electronic Documents) Notice 2006, namely it is deposited in an archive established for the purpose of the long-term preservation of, and access to, public documents or a class of public documents.

This notice applies from the date of its publication.

Canterbury Earthquake (Cadastral Survey Act) Order 2010

Notice of Rules for Cadastral Survey (Canterbury Earthquake) 2010

Pursuant to clause 5 of the Canterbury Earthquake (Cadastral Survey Act) Order 2010, public notice is given that the Rules for Cadastral Survey (Canterbury Earthquake) 2010 have been made and the Cadastral Survey Act 2002 applies to them as if they had been made under section 49 of that Act.

The Rules will come into force on 31 January 2011.

The Rules may be viewed and downloaded from the website www.linz.govt.nz

Terrorism Suppression Act 2002

Designation of Terrorist Entities

On 15 December 2010, pursuant to section 22 of the Terrorism Suppression Act 2002, the organisations listed below were designated as terrorist entities.

Any person who deals with the property of the entities listed below may be liable to prosecution for an offence under section 9 of the Terrorism Suppression Act 2002.

Organisations

The Ejercito de Liberacion Nacional (also known as ELN); and

Harkat-ul-Jihad-al-Islami Bangladesh (also known as HUJI-B, Islami Dawat-e-Kafela (IDEK); Harakat ul-Jihad e Islami Bangladesh; Harkatul-Jihad-al-Islam; Harkatul Jihad; Harakat-ul-Jihad-al-Islami; Harkat-ulJihad-al-Islami; Harkat-ul-Jehad-al-Islami; and Harakatul-Jihad-Islami Bangladesh); and

Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades (also known as the AAMB).

This designation expires on 15 December 2013, unless it is earlier revoked or extended pursuant to section 35 of the Terrorism Suppression Act 2002.
